This week for an art project several clients created a small garden of “spoon flowers” with lavender petals. Lavender represents all types of cancer during cancer awareness months.
The flowers are made of plastic spoons with tissue paper petals. Clients cut petals out and glued them into the bowl of the spoon to make the flower shape.
They then added a puffball to the middle to finish the flower. The finished flowers were planted in leftover pots we have for the Community Plant Project.
It was a fun and colorful project to create awareness and make CSN a brighter, more colorful place.
