In a recent week’s cooking class the clients made Carrot-Mango Lassi. The ingredients used were carrots, carrot juice, mango, plain nonfat yogurt, honey, fresh lime juice, ground turmeric, and salt.
First the group had to chop and squeeze lime.
Then they stirred and put yogurt on the mixer.
Then they put carrot juice and honey on the mixer.
Then they added mango on the mixer.
One client pressed the button on the mixer to combine many ingredients.
Then the group enjoyed the completed snack.
This is what some of the clients involved had to say about the snack:
“I helped in cook class today by putting carrots on the mixer”. -Dawn
“My favorite part of cook class today was drinking some juice.” -Nikki
“I can remember one of the ingredients used in the snack today. It’s called carrots.” -Cheryl
“I liked the snack today.” -Andi
“Today I learned that something can be healthy, but still simple and quick.” -Job Coach Scott
