It’s time to think spring! Today we will show a recent 3-d collage art project we have done at CSN!
Supplies needed: green paper stem, two paper leaves, two paper flowers (one orange and one yellow), one orange circle, white paper, glue stick and a pencil
Step 1) Glue the stem to the white sheet of paper.
Step 2) Take both of your leaves and fold them down the middle.
Step 3) Flip the leaf over and put glue on one side.
Step 4) Turn the leaf back over and glue it on to the paper, letting the folded half stick up a little off the surface. Place both leaves like this.
Step 5) Spread glue on the entire back of the flower head. Glue it all down flat at the top of the stem.
Step 6) Take the other flower head and the pencil, and curl the edges of the petals with the pencil, rolling it around the pencil body. Place glue on the back of the flower head in the center only, and glue it on top of the other flower head. You can rotate it slightly so it doesn’t match up with the flower underneath it.
Step 7) Now take the small orange circle and glue it into the center of the flower head.
Step 8) Now your collage is complete! Enjoy your 3-d art!
