A recent week’s cooking class snack was fruit salad. The ingredients used were oranges, pears, grapes, apples, and banana.
First the group had to put some gloves on.
They cut up the fruit into bite size pieces.
The group enjoyed the completed snack.
Then it was time to clean up.
This is what some of the clients involved had to say about the snack:
“Today, I helped in cook group by cutting some apple.” Dawn Z.
“My favorite part of cook group today was cutting some banana.” C.J.
“I can remember one of the ingredients used in the snack today. It’s orange.” Sharon M.
“I liked the snack today.” Linda H.
“I learned the ASL signs for some fruit.” Job Coach Scott
