This week’s cook group snack was refried bean dip. The ingredients used were shredded cheese, cream cheese, red pepper, refried beans, and tortilla chips. First the group had to open the refried beans, put a large amount of cheese in a red bowl, and mix the ingredients all together.
Then, they cut up some red pepper.
Then, a job coach microwaved it briefly.
This is what some of the clients involved had to say about the snack:
“I helped in cook group today by stirring refried bean dip.” Sharon
“My favorite part of cook group today was putting some ingredients together.” Linda
“I can remember one of the ingredients used in the snack today. It’s called cream cheese.” Sharon
“I liked the snack today.” April
“I didn’t know red peppers go inside bean dip.” Job Coach Katrina
