In a recent cooking class we made rice crispy cakes. The ingredients used were coconut, craisins (dried cranberries), peanut butter, and plain rice cakes.
First, the group had to pass some plain rice cakes.
Then they took turns spreading peanut butter.
Then they sprinkled coconuts on plain rice cakes.
They sprinkled craisins (dried cranberries).
Then the group enjoyed the completed snack.
This is what some of the clients involved had to say about the snack:
“I helped in cooking class today by spreading some peanut butter on plain rice cake.” Miranda
“My favorite part ofcooking class today was sprinkling some craisins (dried cranberries) on plain rice cake.” Dawn
“I can remember one of the ingredients used in the snack today. It’s called coconut.” Emily
“I liked the snack today.” Linda
“Today I learned about making craisins.” Job Coach Katrina
